LeEco, after witnessing unprecedented success in its recent three flash sales earlier this month, has now announced a special sae day on Flipkart. LeEco Day is a one-day-only shopping festival on the e-commerce website with Rs 8 crore worth of prizes and offers, to be held on February 25.
Globally, LeEco’s online sales from its annual ‘Fans Festival’ topped US $270 million, making it one of China’s largest e-commerce event. During its ‘Black 919’ festival, the single-day sales of its flagship Le Superphone on LeMall.com set a new record in both volume and revenue. It sold 572,000 Le Superphones and 355,000 Letv Super TVs. LeEco’s Atul Jain , COO Smart Electronics Business said, “ We are humbled by the consumers’ response to our Superphones in the flash sales . We recognise that there is a huge demand for our flagship killer – Le 1s and the super-premium Le Max , which has been the prime motivator for us to come up with this LeEco Day. We are confident that this innovative shopping carnival will witness unprecedented popularity among consumers”.
Starting LeEco Day, flagship killer Le 1s will be available on Flipkart without pre-registration process. Having received 2,20,000 total orders within the shortest time of 31 seconds in the 3 flash sales and another incredible record of 20,28,000 registrations across the 3 flash sales, LeEco is confident their numbers warrant dropping the flash sale model.
Buyers of LeEco’s Superphones can also expect a content ecosystem to be uploaded into its android-based EUI system in the second quarter of this year since the company has already signed contracts with Eros and Yupp TV. Also noteworthy is that 555 service centers are in place in prime locations in the country, besides providing 24/7 toll free services.
